This two-day course covers all the skills in Emergency First Aid plus first aid for other injuries and illnesses including head and spinal injuries, fractures of the upper and lower limbs. This course includes Level C CPR training and certification (Adult, Child, Infant) and AED training and certification. We are offering this course this week on Thursday/Friday in Calgary and Saturday and Sunday in Edmonton. Spots are available for you and your loved ones. If you are involved with rigging operations of any kind, this 2 day course is for you. You will learn about the responsibilities of a rigger, load calculations, sling angles, inspections and everything rigging. You will also conduct a heavy lift with our virtual reality simulator and apply your learned techniques in a shop environment as well. Spots are available for this weekend in Calgary, November 23/24.

 

CAREERS is fulling embracing the technology wave! Thanks to the generosity of Building Trades of Alberta and Alberta Construction Training Institute, CAREERS: The Next Generation now has a pre-loaded scaffolding and iron structure VR headset! With this new tool we will be able to really show students what their future could be. Here is one of our Regional Directors receiving the VR hardware with Terry Parker from BTA, Jason Wright from BTA Training Society as well as Wade and Carolyn Glavine from ACTI! We are so excited to put this tool to good use.
